Dr. Deborah L. Leitsch

Dr. Deborah Leitsch is Professor
of Accounting at Goldey-Beacom College in
Wilmington, Delaware. She holds a DBA in
Accounting from the University of Sarasota,
a Master's of Science in Accounting
Information Systems from University of
Delaware, a Master's of Business
Administration in Management from Syracuse
University, and a Bachelor's of Science in
Business Administration from University of
Colorado.
Deborah has 20 years of financial and
managerial accounting experience working for
a large manufacturer in upstate New York. In
addition, she has volunteered, for the past
five years, with the Delaware VITA-EITC
campaign which offers tax preparation to low
income families. Recently, she has presented
papers on ethics in accounting at regional
and national academic conferences. Her
current research interests include business
ethics, ethics in accounting, and accounting
